of a v2555us myself.
This site will have a user forum, links to vendors and project pages, and other resources added in throughout May, 2006.
My v2555 was a floor demo at a local Staples. It currently has 512MB, AMD Sempron 3000+ (1.8GHz), DVD+-RW, ATI Radeon Xpress 200M.

With these upgrades, it's going to be under $1,000 us for a notebook that'll blow the doors off anything else in its price range!
